In order to participate in any travel event with Quilt Among Friends, all travelers must read & sign the QAF Travel Agreement. Registration is finalized when you complete and return the agreement to Quilt Among Friends.

Class Guidelines:

Class Registration
When you sign up for a class, and are not able to attend, we ask that you let us know at least 1 day in advance to have your class fee reimbursed.

Cell Phones
We understand that many people carry cell phones today.  During class, we ask that you turn off your cell phone, or at least put it on "silent" so that it does not disturb the other students.  If you need to use your cell phone, please be polite, and step outside to talk so that you do not disturb the class.

General Class Conduct
We want everyone to enjoy the class experience and become excellent quilters. There are many things that can disturb or disrupt student learning. We try to keep the classroom environment comfortable for everyone and ask that each student practice general politeness and sensitivities. Several of our students and employees have allergies. Therefore, please do not wear strong perfumes and leave children at home.

Class Suggestions
We do our very best to offer an array of classes including the classic and basic techniques combined with the latest in quilting excitement. However, we only know what you want, if you tell us. Shipping & Handling Information:

We ship every day except Sunday and turn out orders as quickly as possible. In most cases, orders made before 4pm will be shipped the same day. *Quilt Among Friends strives to keep shipping costs down to the minimum. We send your items using Priority Mail shipping, and make every effort to pack as your order as efficiently as possible.  During processing your order, you will be contacted with the final total of your purchase, including shipping by Priority Mail.

Sales Tax:

Orders placed from within the state of Texas will have 8.25% sales tax added. International orders (outside the US) may be subject to customs duties and taxes.

Discounted Sale Items

Shipping costs for discounted items will be figured according to the full price of each item, and not the discounted price. Our webstore figures shipping and handling according to the dollar total of the order, and we cannot change this. Thus, when discounted items are ordered, we will adjust shipping costs upon billing to reflect the non-discounted prices of these items.

International Shipping & Handling Fees

Please Note: We are not responsible for the delivery of international shipping. We send our international packages via the least expensive method but if a customer wants tracking or insurance they need to request it from us and will be billed at the applicable rate. If tracking or insurance is purchased and the package is not received we will assist in the tracking request but we will not be responsible for the receipt of the package.

Global Priority Countries

We ship Global Priority Mail to all countries that are on the Global Priority system. A Global Priority Mail shipment to Canada, Mexico, and to all other countries is billed at actual shipping costs. In most cases, Global Priority Mail is less expensive than surface mail and will arrive in approximately one week as opposed to 6 to 8 weeks surface. Shipments that are over 4 lbs or will not fit into the USPS large flat rate envelope will be billed as quoted by USPS.

Non-Global Priority Countries:

Shipping prices to non-Global Priority Mail Countries can vary widely. Please specify when ordering whether you want surface or air shipping. Shipping charges will be billed as quoted by the US Post Office.
